What is Slack?
A communication tool Sidekick used to reach out to all of the employees. The company is requiring Sidekick to be online and be available during the work hours in order for us to reach you whenever needed. Most of our clients use slack as well as their communication tool.
Channels
Slack organizes conversations in your workspace into dedicated spaces called channels. Channels bring the right people and information together for a common purpose — like a specific project, topic, or team. Keep reading to learn how to browse and join the channels in your workspace.
In Sidekick we have important channels that we need to take note of. These are the following:
- #sidekick-general – this is where we the admins are posting announcements for all. this is where we post “good morning” when you’re in and “eod” if you’re it is your end of day.
- #sidekick-payroll – the place we post all of our Hubstaff concerns and also the place where we confirm the number of hours you worked for the cut off.
- #sidekick-isa – this channel is for all the Inside Sales Associate and this is where admins posts announcements or any important updates related to ISAs.
- #sidekick-adminva – this channel is for all the Administrative Virtual Assistant related positions and this is where admins posts announcements or any important updates related to Admin VAs.
- #sidekick-tc – this channel is for all the Transaction Coordinators and this is where admins posts announcements or any important updates related to TCs.
- #sidekick-creatives – this channel is for all the Graphic Designs and Social Media Managers and this is where admins posts announcements or any important updates related to Graphics and Marketing.
