Hubstaff Productivity Policy
The Policy
SIDEKICK values productivity and accountability to ensure the success of our teams and the achievement of our goals. This productivity policy outlines the expectations for all employees regarding their work performance and provides a framework for addressing instances of low productivity.
Performance Expectations
Employees are expected to perform their duties diligently and effectively to meet the standards set by their respective roles and responsibilities. This includes:
- Completing assigned tasks within the designated timeframes.
- Maintaining consistent levels of productivity throughout the workday.
- Adhering to company policies and procedures related to work performance.
Manipulation of Data
Anyone that is caught using software or any other tools that would manipulate hubstaff productivity will be instantly terminated. If you are not hitting the required productivity rate due to long meetings, clients not responding, or any activities that will affect your productivity, you will need to send us an explanation with the date on #sidekick-productivity channel.
Notice to Explain
Upon receiving notification of productivity concerns, employees will be given the opportunity to provide a statement. This allows employees to explain any factors that may have contributed to the decrease in productivity or to provide any relevant context. The NTE should be submitted within a specified timeframe determined by the manager or supervisor which is 24 hours after receipt.
Progressive Discipline
In instances where productivity concerns persist despite the opportunity for explanation, the following progressive discipline process will be implemented:
- First Instance: First Written Warning
- Second Instance: Final Warning
- Final Instance: Termination
